Three people are hurt after a car crashed into a construction crane on a closed I-95 on-ramp in Philadelphia, police said.

According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the single-vehicle crash happened around 4:04 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, on the northbound I-95 on-ramp at Delaware Avenue and Lombard Street.

Police said a preliminary investigation found that a gray 2012 Honda Accord was traveling northbound on Delaware Avenue when the driver attempted to enter the I-95 on-ramp at Lombard Street, which was closed for construction.

Police said medics transported front-seat passenger, a man, to Jefferson Main Hospital in critical condition.

A another man, who was a passenger sitting in the back seat was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, also in critical condition.
